Chair Forward Bend

To accomplish this restorative yoga pose sit at the edge of your chair, knees over ankles, lean forward with straight back to lean forearms on thighs, careful to keep spine straight and core gently engaged.  Allow your head to hang, chin slightly tucked in.  Softly close your eyes.  Allow your breathing to be deep and slow.   Feel the tension leaving your back and brain.
Benefits:  Mild inversion that stretches the lower back and relieves tension in the shoulders and quiets the mind.
Do not practice this restorative yoga pose if you have retinal problems, eye pressure, or a sinus infection.
